Former foster child devotes life to helping others

Abandoned at age five and adopted at age nine, Adam is now in his 40s and has helped hundreds of foster children and their families adjust to tough life changes. His experiences range from working as a family-centered service worker in the Children's Division… to supervising CASAs… to directing foster care programs… to serving as a regional director of an adoption and child welfare agency… to teaching human services courses at the college level… to delivering trainings and keynote speeches. His academic credentials include both an undergraduate and a master's degree in social work.

Adam's personal experiences with foster care and adoption, combined with his experiences as a child welfare professional, contribute to his unique insight into children's behaviors and interactions. With the enviable ability to connect quickly with others, Adam is a terrific choice for anyone seeking a facilitator who can deliver training that makes a difference.
